    facebook.com/medwayjapangroup The Medway International Relations Japan Group, was part of Medway council and now a private organization that organizes an annual cultural exchange program with Medway's twinned cities of Ito and Yokosuka. Each summer four students from Japan are hosted in Medway and four English students travel to host towns in Japan for two weeks, staying with local families who share their culture and hospitality. The group have been responsible for all aspects of cultural exchange with Japan over the years, hosting visiting dignitaries from the cities of; Ito, Yokosuka, and Harado; Japanese diplomats; university professors; and businness delegations. This is the place to learn the history of William Adams in England and his birthplace of Medway, and keep an eye on events in his honour and in honour of Japan where he made his new home.
